Description: The most striking thing about Dahlia is her eyes.  Dahlia has a mismatched pair of eyes her right eye is green and her left eye is blue.  Her hair changes colors weekly.  Most of it is red, however, she adds highlights of blue, green and black at random times.  Dahlia is of medium height and build.  Neither skinny, not fat, she is pleasantly rounded.  She is always wearing large, plastic (usually brightly colored) jewelry.    She is always wearing makeup (yes, even when she’s in pajamas) and has a bizarre stuffed animal that appears to be made out of several others.  She calls this hodge-podge “Sempai Jones” and only she knows whether or not it answers when she talks to it.  Outside of her school uniform, she is usually seen wearing a black hoodie with white fur trim.  Sempai Jones is usually hanging out of her shoulder bag.
Special Attributes:  Dahlia is actually a Manticore.  She knows it, but doesn’t share the information...not because she’s afraid of rejection, but because she feels it isn’t important.  Cain is aware of this.
Personality:  Dahlia is very friendly and open to helping others.  As an Upperclassman, she feels the need to “reach out” to others.  However, outside of school, she seems to have a very disinterested attitude about the world.  This probably comes from her somewhat dual nature.  She doesn’t seem to have many friends, despite the fact that she is able to help others succeed academically.  Dahlia is addicted to cartoons.  She can often be seen standing in front of the local electronics store, boba tea in hand, watching five tv sets at once.  She doesn’t seem to get overly excited or upset.  She’s very quiet, despite her somewhat garish appearance.

How Did They Meet?:
She met Cain when he asked to see her at the tutoring center a year ago.  Expecting a tutoring session, she soon realized WHO it was that came to see her.  She tells him she’s neutral and doesn’t want to have any part in his “evil doings...whatever they are” (her words exactly).  Cain pretended to acknowledge her request, however, he sees her as a pawn to be used in the future.  Sempai Jones doesn’t like that boy one bit, he did try to pull out one of his eyes.  That was mean!
Later...
Dahlia met Blake when he ended up at the tutoring center by mistake.  Thinking he was a little lost freshman, Dahlia proceeded to inform him of all the courses she tutored and to come back and see her if he ever needed help.  He didn't, of course, but he thanked her, excused himself, and left, not before being introduced to Sempai Jones.  Blake is one of the few people who isn't bothered by her plushie friend.  The two seem to keep running into each other.  Dahlia sees this as fate...for what exactly, she’s not sure.  Sempai Jones thinks Blake is boring, especially for someone who acknowledges his existence.
Background:  The result of human/banshee crossbreeding like her younger sister, Sheila, Dahlia is a Manticore.  Although usually in her human form, Dahlia is able to transform into a red cat-like creature with sharp teeth, spines, claws, and a scorpion’s tail.  Her parents never had a problem with this, knowing full well their children (if they had any), would be inhuman hybrids.  They always encouraged her to do well in school and to reach out to others, something she does a lot in her life and after school job at the tutoring center at the local private school.  
Parents/Family Life: Mother: Lucy McPhearson Senen (A Banshee hausfrau) who loves being a domestic goddess.  She makes extra money by making cakes in the family kitchen. Father: James Senen: A very human Ebayer, stock market investor and WoW addict, Sister: Sheila, another Manticore like Dahlia, Sheila is a drama queen and frequently throws literal “hissy fits”.  Sempai Jones: Dahlia’s perpetual plush companion.
Notes:  Dahlia LOVES candy...especially cherry flavored candy.  No, she is not EMO.
